You get to grow and progress when you ask yourself good questions.

If you tell yourself you’re unfit and lazy, there’s no room for growth. If you ask yourself  ‘What is it that’s holding me back from losing weight?, your brain works to find the answer, and when you find the answer, you can work at solving the problem.

You are not your habits. Your habits are just actions that you’ve built up over time, and sometimes we get so used to them, we don’t even question them. If you’re over-eating, or over-drinking, or you’re not working out, but want to change, know that you can.

You’re not your bad habits. You’re not lazy, it’s not that you don’t suit exercise, or that you’re different to others, it’s just what you’ve gotten used to.

When you’ve got conflicting things going on, it can be really stressful. Do you eat healthy during the week and all out binge at the weekends? Do you drink too much but exercise consistently? Do you eat well during the day but then go home and eat a packet of biscuits?

This is a loop to absolutely nowhere. It’s a cycle that many people stay on for the rest of their lives.

Figure out what you want more and what you’re willing to do to change.

You can’t have both. Stay the same if thats what you want, but know that you can change. You can change instantly. You can get help. You can decide right now, enough is enough, I’ve had it.

You can become the person you want to be. It’s never, ever too late.

Write out everything you want, and who you want to become. Design the future you, and put a plan in place. Give yourself 12 months to change and get used to your new habits.

Replace the old dis-empowering habits with new empowering habits. Re-discover yourself.
